Cicero Avenue Resale was born on November 7, 1989. Owning and operating an independent car shop had been John’s (John Toczydlowski, proprietor) lifelong dream. In 1986, John emigrated to the U.S. from Poland, escaping political turmoil resulting from the Soviet occupation of Eastern Europe. Today he continues to fulfill his interpretation of the American Dream, by empowering his customers with mobility, via the sale and repair of affordable vehicles.
